On Saturday 17 November 2012 our annual Table Top Sale held in Fordingbridge Town Hall was a great success and helped our organisation raise an incredible £320.39 for our work. We are so grateful to friends and members for all their help on the day including Sue, Teresa, the two Pats, Pauline, Jayne, Tracy, and Chairman Betty Price plus friends Adrian and Barry who on the day donated a wonderful home made fruit cake for us to sell.
Sue manned the main door taking entry fees, Teresa, Pat, Pauline and Tracy worked on our stalls selling bric-a-brac and new goods. Thanks go to Jayne from Animals’ Voice who the night before made home made cakes and scones to raise funds with and aided by our second Pat in the kitchen, they made all the tea’s and coffees throughout the morning with Betty once again manning our tombola stall.
All of the ladies worked incredibly hard with Pat from AV responsible for the tables looking gorgeous with decorative flowers and candles, Teresa and her never ending bags of goodies that she continually dipped into replacing sold items with new ones, and of course the busiest job of all was in the kitchen where Jayne and volunteer Pat stood for over two hours making endless cups of tea and coffee and washing up in between! We thank everyone who came along to support our work and for helping us raise such a wonderful amount.
